• ANNUAL LAMP REPLACEMENT IS ESSENTIAL: For your family's safety, the UV lamp MUST be replaced every 12 months (~9,000 hours). After this period, its germicidal effectiveness is no longer guaranteed, even if the lamp still lights up.

• PRE-FILTRATION IS REQUIRED: For your UV system to work effectively, a sediment pre-filter (at least 5-micron) must be installed before the unit. This removes dirt and suspended solids that could "shield" microorganisms from the UV light.
